I asked the lovely folks at Hven to send me a bottle of their gin and vodka to feature on my blog and they kindly, and generously said yes.
The bottles that were sent my way are beautiful. With the two gins encased in wooden boxes and each bottle being dipped into wax seals. The pyramid style bottles with long necks are beautifully unique and the label matching the wax seal in colour really gives it something.
The spirits themselves are incredible.
The gins are both tasty and the botanicals really do jump out at you without being overpowering. With a spicy taste that lingers with such subtly and the juniper being evident but not overwhelming, both gins are very interesting.
The vodka is subtle but smooth with taste of grapefruit. It is aged in an oak which really adds depth and you can taste the difference with this vodka.
I am extremely fond of this brand and their wonderful spirits really are something.
